ปอเมด is a place where I will publish pieces of writing about things I couldn't get rid of until they're transformed into texts. I look for the nuances in language, meaning, and expression; for what lies beneath; and for the in-between.

Most of my life revolves around reading, writing, editing, and thereafter translating. That is why I have created this site to archive my oeuvre.

While studying and exploring in a myriad of fields at the Faculty of Arts, Silpakorn University, I endeavored to become a part of the writing and publishing spheres, became a proofreader, and ultimately landed as an editor of FA-AKSORN JOURNAL. I finally achieved a Bachelor of Arts in English (literature — passionately) and History.

I try to communicate through visual language in the THESE UNSELECTED project whenever I have the chance.

The Cultural Architect & Localization Strategist

Poramet Aiemsa-ard (Palm)

I’m an English-Thai Localization Specialist and Project Manager with a background in language and literature. My work sits at the intersection of translation, storytelling, and project delivery. I specialize in software & UI/UX localization, creative writing, and project management — the kind of work that requires both a linguist’s eyes for nuance and a project manager’s grip on timelines, platforms, and stakeholders.

What I do

1. Localization & Translation — Full localization and translation across Thai and English, including subtitle translation.
2. Software & UI/UX Localization — Adapting UI strings, microcopy, tech documentation, and help centers with a focus on user clarity and space-constrained design.
3. Media & Creative Adaptation — Managing transcreation and cultural adaptation for webtoons, promotional campaigns, and storytelling media, alongside creative writing.
4. Quality & Project Management — Planning and optimizing the project life cycle end to end; proofreading, LQA, and MTPE; setting QA standards; and managing vendor and stakeholder relationships.
